Power Plant Pavana I

In 1995, Pavana I, Lufussa’s first power plant was built, which consists of an installed generation capacity of 39.5 MW. Pavana I was placed into operation in a fast-track record of 4 months due to the urgent energy need in the country which was lacking supply at that moment.

With Pavana I, Honduras was able to surpass the energy deficiency that held the entire country in the dark, literally.
